TODAY’S world is abuzz with thousands of messages a day clamouring to occupy our thoughts and minds.
If we don’t take stock and make the time for God each day it can leave little room for the spiritual aspect of our lives.
Pope Benedict made a similar point during his homecoming visit to Germany when he said society risked becoming “deaf” to God.
It is when we stop communicating with God that we can easily go astray from the path he has set out for us to follow.
It can also blind us to what really matters in life – our relationship with the God who loves us.
