A BLESSING ceremony at Corinda Graceville Parish has marked another milestone in a program that draws children each week to focus on God in a special way.
Brisbane Auxiliary Bishop Brian Finnigan blessed a section of the parish centre for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd on July 23.
The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a program of faith formation for children aged three to 12.
The atrium is full of materials and displays linked to biblical and liturgical sources. These are handcrafted by the catechists with the help of the community, and they are used by the children as they explore their relationship with God.
In a practical link with liturgy, the children may be involved in activities such as flower arranging, leaf washing and preparation of the cruets for Mass.
