ST Vincent de Paul’s young adults indulged in a night of gastronomical delights when they held a progressive dinner on April 12.
Almost 20 of them arrived at St Vincent de Paul’s state headquarters at South Brisbane for pre-dinner drinks and nibbles.
Vinnies notables popped in, including state president Tim O’Connor, director of mission Narelle Mullins and Archdiocesan Presidents’ Committee co-ordinator John Forrest.
A bus also arrived with members from the Southport Ashmore St Vincent de Paul conference.
‘Everyone is involved in different outreach missions and the purpose of the dinner was to get everyone together and talking,’ said young adult co-ordinator Melissa Dwyer.
The dinner turned into a fundraiser after the volunteers who provided the meals decided to donate them.
The $20 per person cost for the evening was donated to the society.
