IT’S on again! The Sonfest Christian music festival is back in south-east Queensland on January 17-19.
A mix of music, speakers, praise and worship is expected at the Boonah Showgrounds for the three-day festival.
Many local Australian artists will be featured.
Headlining bands include the Paul Coleman Trio, Delirious, OC Supertones, Earthsuit, Skillet, Eli and Relient K.
The festival will also travel to the State Sports Centre in Sydney on January 18 and the Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne on January 22.
Riding on last year’s success, Sonfest organisers are expecting big crowds again this year.
Most of those attending will camp out in the showgrounds, adding to the summer festival experience.
Sonfest is a non-denominational event supported by a number of Christian organisations.
Those attending are invited to bring a tent and camping gear, sunscreen, hats, water, a Bible, torch and money.
Cost is $73.50 per person or $245 for a family, comprising two adults and two children.
Tickets are available from Koorong Bookstores or the Sonfest head office, phone (07) 3896 8746.
