THE University of Queensland’s Newman Society has issued an invitation to young people to celebrate the Year of Jubilee and their faith at the Young Christian Jubilee Ball 2000.
The aim of the ball is to give young Christians a chance to come together, meet new people and bear witness to Jesus in their lives. It will be an opportunity to help them grow and learn to become leaders of the world one day.
The ball will start at 7.30pm this Wednesday, May 4, at the Greek Club and Convention Centre, Edmonstone St, South Brisbane. Those who attend will enjoy live music, a three-course meal and all-inclusive alcoholic drinks.
The ball also will be attended by Brisbane Auxiliary Bishop Michael Putney and the president of the Lutheran Church in Queensland, John Vitale.
Tickets are $65 and dress code is formal.
