THE Newman Society will hold its annual orientation camp at the Headland Tropicana Resort, Alexandra Headland on the Sunshine Coast from March 5-7.

The O Camp is open to students beginning their studies at higher education institutions around Brisbane, including the University of Queensland, Griffith University, Queensland University of Technology and Australian Catholic University at Banyo.

The aim of the O Camp is to offer new students the opportunity to meet other Catholic students and hopefully join in the activities of these groups on campus.

Participants will be able to enjoy a weekend with other students, make friends and pick up useful information about starting at university.

Returning students are welcome to be part of the camp to extend their group of friends and to contribute their own experience of university life.

The cost of the camp is $60 and transport will be available.

For more information, phone Anthony Goodwin on (07) 3379 1499, Matthew Tan on (0417) 746 898 or Jesuit Father Ian Howells at the University of Queensland Chaplaincy Centre on (07) 3365 6656.
