YOUNG people looking for a safe, fun and inexpensive way to enjoy the end of the school week can try the First Friday Club.
Teenagers aged between 13 and 18 hung out at Our Lady and St Dympna’s O’Callaghan Centre, Aspley for the launch of the club for the North East Deanery on July 6.
Organiser Gavin Duffy said: “Many young people are looking for somewhere to have fun with other young people without the pressures of the peer group that ordinarily haunts so much of their social life.”
Activities include games, movie nights or outings such as skating and lasertag, with the next get-together scheduled for August 3.
