HOW do you tell the difference between love and lust?
Brisbane’s Young Christian Workers (YCW) will help young people answer this question and many more relating to their sexuality on November 25.
A wine and cheese night will be held at the YCW offices at St Brigid’s Church, Musgrave Rd, Red Hill at 7.30pm. Speakers will include Catherine Gordon from Family Planning and Fr Kevin McGovern who lectures at Banyo Seminary.
Recently YCW review groups in Camp Hill and Redlands found themselves discussing issues relating to their lives and the topic of sex.
The discussions led the young people to ask more questions about their faith and the society in which they live.
Often when young people socialise, sexual innuendo is passed back and forth among the sexes. As a result, YCW decided to address the issue of sex and the Catholic faith.
