EMBRACING a range all ages in the family, Logan Deanery hosted a highly anticipated event on July 7 in Daisy Hill parish.
Qld Bioethics Centre and John Paul II Centre for Family and Life director Dr Ray Campbell said the deanery “is to be congratulated” for hosting “Embracing Families: Riding the Waves of Faith, Love and Life”.
A variety of workshop opportunities were enjoyed as was input from Youth Off the Streets Founder Fr Chris Riley and outspoken youth advocate Melinda Tankard Reist.
“Both speakers challenged all present to be more aware and more involved,” Dr Campbell said.
“(And) the feedback from the participants has been overwhelmingly positive.”
Dr Campbell said those who attended “particularly appreciated that there were so many practical suggestions about how to approach different issues” and Logan Dean Fr Bernie Gallagher said the conference would bring continued benefits for the family and beyond.
