Adoring Jesus: Monsignor Anthony Randazzo elevates the monstrance during Benediction at the Ignite Conference in 2013.

THE anticipation to Ignite Conference 2014: Illuminate is building, with the conference set to open its doors for the tenth time in just a few days.

This milestone event for Ignite Youth, organisers of Ignite Conference, sees young Catholics from across the nation and the globe converge on the Mueller Performing Arts Centre from Thursday, September 25 for four days of rallies, inspiring speakers, heartfelt worship and sacraments.

Ignite Conference this year has plenty to keep those returning to the conference and the hundreds of first time delegates engaged with the conference experience.

The expansion of the Ignite Conference festival promises to be one of the big draw cards.

Organiser Michaela Hillam said it would boast a dedicated festival stage, rock climbing by Vocation Brisbane, a skate park and Vocations and Ministries Expo with more than 40 exhibitors to name a few of the highlights.

“The festival will be a place to connect with other young Catholics, discover a variety of vocations and mission opportunities and chill between sessions,” she said.

With hundreds of sessions and more than 80 speakers, delegates will have an almost unequalled opportunity to learn and discover more about the Church and their faith.

“But more importantly, Ignite Conference is a place where hundreds of teenagers and young adults will experience for themselves the light that Christ brings and an opportunity to personally respond to the Gospel message,” conference co-ordinator Luke Plant said.

Online registrations have closed with more 1000 people already registered.

Walk in registrations will be available at the door and organisers would like to remind people that “it’s not too late to come and participate”.
