STUDENTS from St Leo’s College at the University of Queensland raised about $1500 for young cancer sufferers on October 28.
This year marks the 11th year of National Bandanna Day which raises money for CanTeen, an Australian organisation that supports young people living with cancer.
Twelve residents of St Leo’s College manned stands in the University of Queensland grounds and at Toowong shopping centre to show support for the cause.
This year Canteen launched a new range of bandannas, designed by an Australian youth clothing brand and CanTeen supporter Industrie Clothing.
