THE back page Standing up for Life story made interesting reading (January 11).

Are your readers aware that in Victoria it is legal to kill an unborn child right up to nine months?

Is this the Victorian branch of the Australian Labor Party to which the Leader of the Opposition belongs?

Where does Bill Shorten stand on this issue?

Voters need to be aware of the promises made by the Victorian branch of the Australian Labor Party when we have the Leader of the Opposition campaigning in Queensland with Anastasia Palaszczuk.

Is he trying to influence the Queensland branch of the ALP to think the same way as the Victorian branch does?

In Victoria the ALP government plans to keep the laws they introduced in 2008 that force GPs to refer for abortions or risk being deregistered.

As voters in both State and Federal elections we must be aware of the policies of all the parties.

Stand up for life.
