THERE is no doubt that World Youth Day 2008 is more than just a memory for Australian Catholics.
It is an event that will live on as a force for good in the Church for years to come.
We could not have imagined the way the event moved people, just as we cannot imagine how the Holy Spirit will continue to work through those who attended, those who were touched from afar and those who will be influenced in the aftermath.
Such positive influence can only be limited by our lack of openness to the possibilities.
Now that we have been inspired by the big event, we can look forward to witnessing the hand of God in the little things.
