Anyone who watched the telecast of the Palm Sunday Mass from Rome and the handover of the World Youth Day Cross to an Australian delegation will have felt the excitement.
Brisbane will play an important role in welcoming young people from around the world, as one of the host cities for the days of encounter which precede World Youth Day.
This is the time to start preparing for 2008. It will be a faith-filled extravaganza for the whole Australian Church.
