THE sight of a 10-year-old boy bursting into tears at a recent meeting of flood victims in Ipswich highlighted the fact that the tragedy is far from over for many families.
It was too much for the boy as he told the crowd how his family was still unable to return home, and it was terrible to watch his distress. Other speakers, in similar situations were equally upset.
This serves to remind us how important it is to continue to support the work of groups such as the St Vincent de Paul Society (page 1) in helping such families.
