CATHOLICS are supposedly anti-abortion but how many are prepared to even speak out against abortion let alone protest outside an abortion clinic (CL 15/5/11)?
And what sort of state do we live in where we use our over-stretched police force and judicial system to arrest and prosecute Graham Preston (a father of six) and Anne Rampa (a mother of seven) for having the moral fortitude to stand outside a Greenslopes abortion clinic in a quiet protest against this unsavoury industry?
We hope and pray that our Archbishop and priests will draw the attention of their parishioners to the plight of these two courageous people in order to highlight the injustice of a system which allows the arrest and prosecution of people for speaking out on behalf of the unborn.
