CATHOLICS are sometimes accused of being too timid when it comes to spreading the Good News.
A new ecumenical campaign in Adelaide to spread the Word of God through the media is an example of Catholics working with other traditions on an extremely worthwhile project.
This co-ordinated campaign – using billboards, TV and radio advertising and publicity events – is an excellent way to make Jesus Christ known to people who may not normally consider befriending their Saviour.
With attendances continuing to fall in most Christian churches across Australia, it is timely to do something different to stem the tide.
Hopefully, the idea will be picked up in other states.
