THURSDAY, December 1, (the day Queensland Parliament adopted a bill allowing same-sex civil unions) was a sad day in the Queensland Parliament and for the whole of Australia.
Actions that are morally wrong all have an inevitable outcome.
They don’t produce the good results that they promise.
Think back to the Family Law Act which was supposed to alleviate the problem of bad marriages.
Increased crime and a shakier social fabric is now a much bigger problem.
Homeless and/or uncontrollable children are growing into a larger percentage of our adult population.
Before they mature they have clogged up our education system and frustrated the lives of teachers who are unable to discipline them.
This further attack on the family will produce more of the same, or even worse.
I see even now people being victimised legally or otherwise for merely speaking against unjust or immoral laws.
May God help what used to be the great country of Australia.
