RE: A Christmas wish for a special gift.
This wish is not for anything tangible and, in fact, is not even able to be bought!
Rather, it is an appeal!
It is also my prayer for a family who have been hurting for what, to them, must seem an eternity.
Having watched the recent interviews with Bruce and Denise Morcombe during the inquest into their son Daniel’s disappearance, the haunted looks on their faces tells just some of the story of the pain they have been so bravely dealing with for so long.
As a concerned observer, one can only try to imagine what the reality of it all must be for them. Someone “out there” knows the truth.
Please reveal it and release this family from its torment.
The person, or persons, responsible must surely have, or have had, people in their lives they love or have loved, maybe even children of their own, parents, siblings etc.
So, they must have some realisation as to the horrendous effect this has had, and continues to have, on the day-to-day lives of this wonderful family.
I shall pray for this person as I pray for the Morcombes, and for Daniel.
The image we have seen so often of that sweet, innocent smiling face is etched in my heart forever.
Would all who read The Leader please pray with me for this special gift.
