OUR beloved Archbishop Mark Coleridge has written an open letter to us all, priests and laity, in particular for encouragement and assurance of our priests (CL 25/22/12).
It also reaches us in the pews, just as capable of finding ourselves trapped in some aspect of life we would not like the world to know.
All those who go further in the cause of right become a target for evil and suffer its anger and its enmity.
Much will not be seen by us laity, for the priesthood stands tall and suffers for many as it guides, carries, ministers to us laity, and because of this reality suffers more harshly the attacks of evil.
Our prayers, support, encouragement go to all those who pastor us, their flock.
