THE world has again been rocked by terrorism, this time at the hands of merciless gunmen who lay siege to a school in the southern Russian town of Beslan.
The victims of this horrific act should be in everyone’s prayers as their families try to cope with the grief.
As for the terrorists, they deserve our strongest condemnation for the mass death and suffering they have inflicted on innocent children and families.
But they also deserve our prayers for conversion from their misdirected campaign of terror which goes against the one true God who created all of us.
Jesus told us to love our enemies and to pray for those who ill treat us (Luke 6:27-28).
It’s a tough call, but unlike those who subscribe to terror, it is the Christian response.
