LAST Saturday’s second synod preparation day demonstrated that Catholics in Brisbane archdiocese have a keen interest in developing ideas to give the local Church a refreshed direction and mission for the new millennium.
The synod organisers have good reason to be assured that this enthusiasm will continue to be felt at the Synod Assembly in May.
Many good ideas have come forward so far in the synod process. It has been a massive task to synthesise and categorise the resulting Broad Action Proposals.
They offer a positive blueprint for the future and, with the prayers of all Catholics, the synod will be an historic journey and a great success
