Make Lent Count

by Staff writers

LENT is with us for another year. How will you make sure the next 40 days do not breeze past without a second thought?

Archbishop John Bathersby of Brisbane offers a number of excellent ways to make Lent count this year.

The key thread is the need to deepen our own faith and to reach out to others.

It is important to remember that nurturing our own faith is a prerequisite for all that we do.

It is the foundation for evangelisation and for our whole way of life.

May the example of Christ’s life shine through all that we do this Lent.
