It’s time for action on abortion

RE “Youth urged to stand up for the unborn”, I applaud The Catholic Leader for giving prominence to the address at Faith on Tap by Abby Johnson, wherein she urged the youth of our state and nation to “get active” in the battle against the abortion industry.

The good lady is a convert from the United States equivalent of our government-subsidised infant slaughter houses.

We have politicians across the spectrum who advocate or silently condone the extermination of potential Australians, outside the lawful provisions defined and enshrined.

The subject has been the cause that has generated more writings than War and Peace.

The time is right now to confront every political law maker to clearly indicate his or her commitment to the abortion question.

It must happen before the next elections, and apply to every candidate seeking re-election or initial entry.

Will the Catholic bishops, or The Catholic Leader, invite all concerned Australians to subscribe to a trust fund to enable the active Christian youth of today, to compensate for our previous lack of action?
