WHAT an extraordinary time in our history as a city, state and indeed, nation.
We’ve witnessed the affect of excessive waters – presenting itself violently and ever-so slowly – on an unprecedented scale for our times.
And because “our times” are within such a digital age, such happenings were also transported on an unprecedented scale.
There’s no doubt lives were saved and help rendered because of advances in communication.
Despite such advances however we were unable to bring you our scheduled first edition for the year last Sunday (January 16) – mainly due to difficulty in transportation.
As this edition testifies to lives lost, hearts opened and on-going repairs and donations here and afar, let us maintain the good will that sets us Aussies apart.
It’s that, and not the water, that has the world talking.
