AUSTRALIA was swept up by the Holy Spirit in spectacular fashion during World Youth Day.
The same Spirit is at work again this Christmas, just like every other year.
It would be interesting to know how differently we celebrate this Christmas in the wake of World Youth Day.
This time, the production is not happening on such a grand scale as the Sydney event in July, but the gift we celebrate is still the same – Emmanuel, “God is with us”.
We can have no greater gift, and we can spend a lifetime of Christmases trying to understand and appreciate it.
