PRO-life supporters are taking heart from a recent survey that has shown opinion against abortion remains strong in Queensland (page 1).
A coalition of pro-life groups have made the best of the survey’s findings with the publicising of the results and by making sure State Members of Parliament are aware of the results.
The survey indicates Premier Anna Bligh’s statement that there was not enough support in Parliament to liberalise the state’s abortion laws is reflected in public opinion.
Pro-life supporters have to continue to push that message.
