THE rain came bucketing down across wide areas of southern NSW and parts of Victoria last weekend, as if in answer to all the prayers that have been offered up for a break in the drought.
While the need for follow up rain is critical to farmers, this latest fall was surely a demonstration of God’s power.
It is easy to give prayer a miss when everything is going okay.
But God never abandons us. He just waits for us to come back to him.
Then our prayers are answered, just as surely as there is a God.
