The parents of a handicapped boy in France have won the right to sue their doctor for not informing them that their child could be handicapped and for not offering them an abortion.
A twisted legal system that allows for such a case to proceed, let alone succeed, has to be seriously questioned.
Doctors should not be made duty bound to offer the option of abortion. They are life-givers, not life-takers.
Cases like this show that human life is increasingly becoming like any other commodity, dictated by money and greed.
