IN the Opinion section of recent editions of The Catholic Leader, there have been complaints about the new translation of the English words in the Mass.
If they had been at St Mary’s Cathedral, Sydney, this morning at 6.45am, they might have been converted.
The mature-aged priest, who probably offered Mass in the Latin era, did so very reverently and correctly without even a stammer.
The same goes for all the priests at the cathedral.
They are now right into the swing of the new translation of the Ordinary, as are the members of the congregation.
May God Bless all north of the border.
