POLITICIANS appear to have backed away from a push for an inquiry into abortion laws.
A debate on the issue at the federal and state level is desperately needed but has been scuttled by some MPs on both sides of politics who are determined to see unborn human lives continue to be killed.
It is now the Church’s role to continue to pursue the call for a debate.
Surely the unheard voices of 100,000 unborn children who are killed through abortion each year deserve to be heard.
What would happen if just half that number of Australians were killed in Iraq?
The outcry would surely be deafening.
Double standards appear to be at play when it comes to abortion.
