I WOULD like to express my appreciation at the changes which I have noticed in The Catholic Leader since its re-launch late last year.
I work at the Mater Hospital and for quite some time have sat to flick through the paper each week.
To begin with that was enough for me, but lately I have been finding so many articles of interest that I need to get my own copy to take home.
They are also moving from the reception area far more than I ever saw before.
I am especially enjoying the various writers from all over the archdiocese, especially so many young bloggers and columns that actually make me think about my life and how I can better live out the Gospel.
I used to feel that the paper was mostly full of schools information, now I am pleased to be able to read articles from the wider Church and many articles that address poignant issues facing the Church today including those that are not usually seen in print such as the pro-life movement and the Church’s position on important issues such as abortion.
I also find Fr John Flader’s contribution is of exceptional value.
Thanks for all your hard work in putting such a great paper together for our archdiocese.
