IT was good to see your story on page 6 of The Catholic Leader on October 27, regarding the earthquake in Philippines, and how this has hurt people who are already among the poorest people in Asia.
In particular it is especially tragic that in natural disasters, the worst hit are those at the most vulnerable, poor children.
I run an organisation that travels regularly to the Philippines and we operate a soup kitchen for poor children in one of the poorest parts of the Philippines, in Dumaguete, near to Cebu, where the recent earthquake hit.
The work is rewarding, and any of your readers may contact me if they wish. I do not want donations.
I welcome associates who want to work. A blue card is the main requirement.
