MODEL and past contestant on America’s Next Top Model Leah Darrow is coming to Brisbane to talk about faith.
Now a full-time speaker for Catholic Answers, Ms Darrow will be at Australian Catholic University’s (ACU) Brisbane campus on September 3 to talk about her conversion, mercy, forgiveness and living a life guided by Christ.
Ms Darrow, who says her life changed during one special photo shoot in which God allowed her to see her soul in its current state, will present her personal testimony to encourage others to realise their call for greatness, rather than comfort.
“Although raised Catholic, my life was full of confusion, especially in this pop culture we live in,” she said.
“When I dressed immodestly, modelled immodestly, it told those around me that I was a party girl, there for a good time, and had very few boundaries or limits.”
Ms Darrow has appeared on numerous secular and non-secular television and radio programs and spoke on behalf of international youth at a United Nations’ panel discussion in 2011.
While in Australia, she will be speaking at other ACU campuses.
In Brisbane, Ms Darrow will give a public talk on “Meant to be More” at ACU’s Banyo campus at 1pm on September 3.
She will also speak at Faith on Tap, at the Pineapple Hotel, Wooloongabba at 7.30pm.
