Church must reach out to families with untraditional form, Synod members say

CATHOLICS must challenge other faithful members to be better, but not at the exclusion of people who “still have growing to do”, Bishop George V. Murry of Youngstown, Ohio, said.

Bishop Murry and other members of the Synod of Bishops on the family spoke Oct. 10 about finding a way to affirm Gospel principles and church teaching while accompanying all Catholics on the path to perfection and holiness.
