Pomona church is celebrating 100 years this month

Historic: Parishioners will be celebrating 100 years for St Patrick's Church at Pomona.

PARISHIONERS and friends past and present have been invited to celebrate the historic St Patrick’s Church at Pomona on its 100-year anniversary on March 26.

Brisbane Archbishop Mark Coleridge will join the parish to celebrate the anniversary Mass at 4pm.

Festivities are set to start outside the church with shaded areas available at 12.30pm.

Memorabilia displays including dozens of photographs of families and community members going back the last century will be set-up for viewing.

The parish is calling for anyone who has further historical memorabilia to contact the parish office for it to be displayed.

The parish has encouraged people interested in attending to book their tickets in advance.

You can book your tickets at www.trybooking.com/BWTGH
