FEET of all shapes and sizes took to Brisbane city streets on May 12 to support Right to Life Australia in their 18th annual ‘Walk for Little Feet’ campaign.
Starting at a Spring Hill abortion clinic and with Parliament House in their sights, walkers came as families, in couples and as individuals to protest against what Queensland co-ordinator Liz Preston said is “a tragic and fundamental inconsistency in our society”.
“The fact that a human being is in the womb does not make them non-human or sub-human. Their right to life should not be forfeited.”
Organisers were pleased to see more young people supporting Rite to Life by their presence at the march.
“It’s important that we all stand up and protect those who can’t protect themselves,” she said.
