DEACON Neville Yun’s ordination to the priesthood for the Brisbane archdiocese has been confirmed for 7pm on Friday, November 29 at St Stephen’s Cathedral.

He said it would be an exciting time.

“People realise that it’s a big commitment for one person to serve the Church for their entire life,” he said.

Deacon Yun said the Catholic community had been a source of great encouragement in the lead up to his ordination.

“During formation in the latter years [in the seminary], there have been bits of encouragement that people have shared with me,” he said.“It’s given me the confidence to know that I can carry out this vocation, that it is mine to follow. I’m excited about what I’ll be doing in my placement.”
