THERE’S not much chance to rest these September school holidays if you are heading to the next Ignite conference run by Emmanuel Youth Outreach (EYO).

“Awaken” will be held from September 27-30 at the Mueller Performing Arts Centre, Rothwell, north of Brisbane.

Key organiser Luke Plant said it was promising to not disappoint regular Ignite fans or newcomers.

“Ignite is a dynamic youth conference that gives a great boost to faith,” he said.

“emmanuelworship and special guests are coming and we anticipate new registrations as well as people who have come before to be there.

“Plus emmanuelworship will have a new album by then and it will be released at the conference.”

EYO is anticipating 1000 young people will join them for the September conference.

Guests confirmed so far include the apostolic nuncio Archbishop Giuseppe Lazzarotto, Missionary of God’s Love Father Dan Benedetti, Brisbane archdiocese’s vocations director Fr Morgan Batt, adventurer Sam Clear and many others.

The event’s “streams” have something for all ages and interests – The Map (leadership and youth ministry), The Beat (worship and creative arts), The Feet (mission and evangelisation), The Vibe (culture and trends), The Source (prayer and lifestyle), Blaze (for high-schoolers up to Year 10) and Ignite Kids (morning sessions for Prep and primary-schoolers).

Luke said workshop presenters were being confirmed and more information was available at the website www.igniteconference.com.au
