IT’S a 16-year tradition organised by Sunnybank parish youth leaders that once again was enjoyed this year.
About 30 young people left Brisbane’s south at 3am on Holy Saturday, April 7, for the traditional Holy Saturday “trek” up the Glass House Mountains.
Current youth and young adults co-ordinators Steven and Eloise Bird said the group “climbed to the top and watched a magnificent sunrise”.
“We praised God for His awesomeness and then slowly made our way back down to share brekky together,” Steven said.
“It was a wonderful way to start the day, with many new faces coming along.”
