BRISBANE archdiocese’s newest Catholic school, Assisi College at Upper Coomera, opened its doors to 160 students last week.
Foundation principal Dora Luxton said the college was a project of Brisbane Catholic Education and connected to St Mary’s Parish, Oxenford, at the northern end of the Gold Coast.
She said the school, which is situated on an 11.5 ha site, would eventually cater for up to 1200 students from Preschool to Year 12.
