CHRISTMAS spirit is running high among Wavell Heights parishioners on Brisbane’s northside after their annual Family Christmas Festival on November 30.
The festival, at Our Lady of the Angels School, attracted a crowd of about 1000. It was well supported by the parish as well as the school community.
A parish spokeswoman said the focus was to come together as a community to celebrate the Christmas event, and that was achieved with a wonderful spirit.
Entertainer Michael Mangan was one of the stars of the carols by candlelight, along with Our Lady of the Angels’ students who performed with him and presented their own items.
There were also plenty of novelty games and entertainment for the younger members of the parish.
