All St Vincent’s Care Services Community Living staff undergo extensive training, and are dedicated, professional and reliable.

BEING an older Australian isn’t the same today as it was 20 years ago — seniors are living longer, more active lives and want the option to age in their own home and community.

This desire can easily be made a reality with in-home support services.

St Vincent’s Care Services — a leading provider of aged care and retirement services— offers an extensive range of Community Living support services to help its clients maintain their lifestyle and independence.

In terms of services available, the options are almost endless. From personal and nursing care such as assistance recovering from a hospital visit, to help with day-to-day chores, transport and even companionship and social support — nothing is too much trouble.

In fact, after one client mentioned his love of fishing to his co-ordinator, the team organised regular fishing outings for him with a staff member — enabling him to keep his passion of angling alive.

Clients are provided with a dedicated Community Living Co-ordinator who takes the time to get to know each client and their needs and interests, before developing a customised support program. It’s about finding out what’s important to each client and helping them to live life on their terms.

All St Vincent’s Care Services Community Living staff undergo extensive training, and are dedicated, professional and reliable. Clients have the added assurance of a 24-hour telephone support service, to connect them to a co-ordinator in times of need.

Clients can also take advantage of the wider St Vincent’s Care Services network. Should the time come when additional care is required, clients enjoy priority access to the organisation’s residential aged care communities across south-east Queensland (subject to availability).

Additionally, as part of St Vincent’s Health Australia — the nation’s largest Catholic health and aged care provider — St Vincent’s Care Services offers clients access to a comprehensive, world-class health and hospital network.

To find out how St Vincent’s Care Services Community Living can support you, call 1800 778 767.
