He is risen. Alleluia.
Christians all over the world, rich and poor, healthy and ill, young and old, celebrate this day with immense joy.
This is the day that we prepared for during Lent.
This day gives us yet another chance to respond to God’s call to walk in the example of Jesus, giving food to the hungry, visiting those in prison, comforting those who mourn.
We are the people of the second chance.
We grasp that opportunity wholeheartedly, calling on the Spirit of God to set our hearts on fire in our efforts to proclaim anew the Reign of God in the World through our prayers, our attitudes and our actions.
