Showing dignity and love

Holy Cross Funerals

Dignified care: Holy Cross Funerals assist families at the death of their loved ones, to ensure that the funeral rites are conducted with dignity and love.

HOLY Cross Funerals began its operation in 1999 as an outreach of the Catholic parish of Holy Cross, Redcliffe City and remains an important apostolic work of Holy Cross Parish.

Holy Cross Funerals manager Philip Novella and his staff assist families at the death of their loved ones, to ensure that the funeral rites are conducted with dignity and love.

For Christians, the funeral rites of the Church assist the family to farewell their loved one through worship, praise and thanksgiving for the gift of a life returned to God, the Creator and the hope of the just.

The Church through its funeral rites commends its beloved to God’s merciful care and the celebration brings hope and consolation to the bereaved family.

Holy Cross Funerals has expanded its pastoral care of families from Redcliffe, throughout Brisbane, and now includes Ipswich and Toowoomba as well as the Gold and Sunshine Coasts, offering its service of support for families of all Christian denominations.

Nobody likes to think about it, but the fact remains that we are only on this earth for a short time.

Pre-arranging a funeral is no different from saving for a holiday or putting money away for an investment.

Pre-planning a funeral is a logical and sensitive way to ensure your passing can be celebrated with as little stress possible on the ones who love you.

Our professional and helpful funeral directors can guide you in completing the appropriate paperwork – nothing morbid or sad, just like filling out a will – practical, sensible and easy.

Many people have personal requirements or guidelines they would like their funeral to follow.

Often this is something that’s thought about in passing and not discussed with loved ones or family.

Pre-arranging a funeral gives your family the ability to follow your wishes as they are outlined in your prepaid funeral documentation.

Holy Cross Funerals can assist families with the full range of funeral services including:
