RENOWNED international artist Andrea Bocelli will sing at the Vatican on Sunday for the inauguration of a new light display on the facade of Saint Peter’s Basilica.
The Italian tenor will perform a song from his new album, set to be released at the end of October.
Mr Bocelli’s performance will launch a two-week nightly video display showcasing the life of Saint Peter.
The video will use Renaissance artwork from the Vatican Museum and material from inside the basilica.
Mr Bocelli previously performed Ave Maria for an evening of prayer with Pope Francis in July 2015.
He will begin his Australian tour in October.
