Located in Lindum on the Brisbane Bayside, Iona College is seeking a Dean of Students to support the strategic vision of the College to empower all members of the community to make a positive difference throughout their lives and the lives of others.
The Dean of Students is a member of the Iona Leadership Team and the Education Leadership Team; and has specific responsibilities for leading, managing and progressing the College’s pastoral care strategies and wellbeing practices for all students.
The Dean of Students reports to the Principal and has leadership responsibility for the Wellbeing Team, which includes Heads of Wellbeing and Formation, Heads of House, College Registered Nurses and Wellbeing School Officers.
A key part of this role is leading the community through innovative change processes to continue to build-on and improve the College’s pastoral care of students through research and the adoption of innovative next practice.
